Annet Gelink Gallery is happy to announce that its presentation on occasion of Art Rotterdam 25th anniversary is created entirely by Erik van Lieshout. For the occasion, Van Lieshout will build a meters-high hay sculpture of a rabbit, in relation to the farmers' protests, among others. The rabbit sculpture is part of the most recent project in which Van Lieshout, with the necessary humour and room for seemingly inescapable differences, tries to bring farm and city life closer together. In so doing, he intertwines politics, land art, craft and myths of the landscape.
