Ryan Gander

A video made directly after the artist's one year sabbatical, is back projected on a small screen built into a room where the floor and walls are the colour of chroma key blue. The sequence shows in one continuous shot the artist's journey from his home back to his studio on a summers morning. A group of sixteen school children sing all the text written in the artist's notebook during the previous twelve months, containing snippets of inspiration and clues that allude to new unmade artworks and projects.
