Antonis Pittas’ new series of steel sculptures take their form from different economical graphs referring to the relations between the supply curves of labor and it’s sensitivity to culture and the numbers of workers set against the average wage rate. The artist, concerned with the current economical crisis and its forms of display and events in Europe, created these sculptures, which without knowing the titles, seem like abstract forms reminiscent of early 20th century avant-garde sculptures.
