Annet Gelink Gallery is pleased to announce that the Mondriaanfonds has chosen a presentation with Erik van Lieshout by Xander Karsken, for the shortlist of presentations for the 2015 Venice Biennial Dutch Pavilion.
Of Karskens' proposal, the Mondriaanfonds says: 'In Xander Karskens' proposal, Erik van Lieshout's interdisciplinary artistry insures a pavilion filled with dynamism and would therefore be an interesting successor to Mark Manders' poetic presentation.' ('Erik van Lieshouts interdisciplinaire kunstenaarschap staat in het voorstel van Xander Karskens garant voor een paviljoen vol rumoer en zou daarmee een interessante opvolger zijn van de poëtische presentatie van Mark Manders.')
The jury will pick one of the five shortlisted proposals in June.
