2017 is the anniversary of the legendary Maria Sibylla Merian, who died three hundred years ago. She was a remarkable woman both as a scientist and as an artist. Ella Reitsma made an exhibition together with the Rijksmuseum called 'Ode to Maria Sibylla Merian', in which her own photo collages are shown alongside Merians works.
The exhibition runs from March 22 until June 13, 2017.
