The 'grande finale' of this last year of DordtYart in Dordrecht has the motto appear / disappear. Seventeen artists are challenged to work with this theme. Sarah van Sonsbeeck and Barbara Visser are two of the artists in residence. Find more information here.
On June 27 there will be a special event with Sarah van Sonsbeeck and Maarten Doorman at 8 pm.
Maarten Doorman is writer, philosopher and extraordinary professor of Journalistic Criticism of Art and Culture at the University of Amsterdam. In 2014, Doorman gave a special lecture at DordtYart during GlassFever, following the work of Koen Vanmechelen. Thursday 27 June is all about appearing / disappearing. Doorman talks about his own work and has a conversation with artist Sarah van Sonsbeeck.
On July 27 Barbara Visser will give a presentation at 2 pm.
