For the duration of the 59th Biennale Arte di Venezia, David Claerbout will be showing his work Wildfire (meditation on fire) in the group show Uncombed, Unforeseen, Unconstrained at the Conservatorio di Musica Benedetto Marcello in Venice. Inspired by the inquiry in the amount of power needed to produce a digital “still life” of fire (likely to set the computer system on fire) the work confronts the biological and the digital.
