The exhibition explores the issue of the permanent transience that we experience today, both on a global and personal level, and questions its potential for choice and change. David Claerbout will present his work Sunrise. The film starts with a maid doing her work during the early hours, and end with her leaving work and essentially starting her day. This way, the work leaves us with conflicting feelings about 'the end' of the film. Although filmed as a classical end sequence it feels like a beginning.
