Maria Barnas participates in the group exhibition smoothing (lines into circles), that looks after the materialities of language, of the body, and of the form simultaneously to create new languages to view, new bodies to read, and new forms of being together. Barnas' Things I Should Have Said (2021 - ) are on view, a visual translation and manifestation of our inner world. In the attempt to solidify words before they are uttered, these porcelain sculptures become totems of distortion and transformation.
