Annet Gelink Gallery is pleased to announce that Steffani Jemison is the recipient of the 2024 Lafayette Anticipations production grant.
Jemison's presentation with Galeria Madragoa in the Emergence sector of Art Basel Paris features a striking theatre cyclorama and new photographs inspired by the myth of Icarus, where bodies appear to float against distant skyscrapers. The grant, awarded annually by an international jury, will fund the creation of a new artwork to be presented in a solo exhibition at Lafayette Anticipations in Paris next year.
